Ingredients
- 1 cup strawberry syrup
- 60 ml of tequila
- SOLUM Ginger & Lime
- 1 cup ice
- Sweet chili salt
- Lime
Strawberry Syrup Preparation
1- In a saucepan, combine water with sugar (or stevia if preferred) and bring to a boil until the water evaporates slightly and you get a sweet syrup.
2- Meanwhile, wash the strawberries, remove the green leaves, and crush them in a blender until you get a puree.
3- Add the previously prepared syrup and a dash of lime juice to the strawberry puree and mix well.
4- Put this mixture back in the saucepan and let it cook over medium-low heat until it reduces and you get the desired syrup.
5- Strain the mixture through a strainer to obtain a fine syrup. Let it cool and it will be ready to use in your recipes.
Step-by-Step Preparation
1- On the edge of the glass, apply strawberry syrup and then touch the edge with the sweet chili salt mixture, flipping it to cover.
2- In a shaker, add a tablespoon of strawberry syrup, ice, and tequila. Shake continuously until all ingredients are fully integrated.
3- Pour the mixture into the prepared glass, garnish with a slice of lemon and fresh strawberry, and finally top off with Solum Ginger & Lime.
