Nuestra elección del nombre “Solum” para nuestra marca de alimentos naturales y sostenibles se basa en su significado científico. En latín, “solum” significa suelo, representando la capa fértil donde comienza y se sostiene la vida. Este término encarna nuestro compromiso con el crecimiento orgánico de los alimentos, enfatizando la importancia de un suelo saludable y rico en nutrientes para cultivar productos sostenibles y saludables.
The coffee cherry is a nutritional gem thanks to its abundance of antioxidants and polyphenols. These compounds act as powerful cellular protectors, helping to combat oxidative stress and reduce the risk of chronic diseases. The present polyphenols, such as phenolic acids and flavonoids, not only contribute to cardiovascular health but also possess anti-inflammatory properties. Incorporating coffee cherry into the diet can significantly contribute to the intake of these beneficial compounds, promoting overall optimal health.

We consistently seek the best raw materials in the Colombian coffee market and collaborate closely with our producers to enhance product quality while promoting sustainable cultivation and soil reintegration to prevent erosion.
Los productos llamados del “upcycling” creativo se elaboran a partir de materias primas que previamente no tenían función alimentaria (en nuestro caso). La cáscara de café, que antes generaba problemas en las fincas cafeteras y, si mucho, se compostaba, ahora proporciona ingresos adicionales del 10-20% a los caficultores, reduciendo así la huella de carbono negativa al ser procesada de manera adecuada en las fincas con las que colaboramos.
